Guild #2 | Gold Coast Mag Mile Best Location

It’s a great location. Nice to have the coffee shop in the building. I lived in the city for 20 years and visit often for the day. We were there for a 2 night visit to celebrate a birthday. Beds were great, kitchen was well equipped. It was decorated nicely. It was comfortable for 3 of us. The furniture was comfortable enough. There were things mentioned in other reviews that would be easy fixes. In the primary bathroom there is water damage on the ceiling and paint and plaster are hanging from the ceiling. In both bathrooms the towel bars have been replaced and the other holes haven’t been fixed. There are other things in the apt that are similar - again would be very easy fixes. None of this would prohibit me from staying again.

Great location. Spacious, well equipped space. Loved the Latin sandwich shop downstairs at street level (with a bar). Neighborhood seems very safe and walkable. A charming older building with the character that goes with that description.

The process for check-in was great and communication was immediate for questions. The location is wonderful, close to shops, bars, restaurants and activities. The apartment was comfortable and we even took a Sunday to enjoy watching movies and eating snacks all day on the comfortable couches! I would definitely stay here again - with so much to see and do in the Chicago area, this is the place to stay!
